About / Clausurus
The conversation should belong to you.
Clausurus explores a simple question: what if you could use powerful AI without surrendering visibility over the personal details in your prompt?
The architecture / 01
A gateway, not another black box.
Your text passes through a detection and pseudonymization layer before it reaches the selected AI model. Pattern matching catches structured information; an optional deep scan with Apertus looks for context that patterns may miss. Detected details are replaced with placeholders, and a side panel shows the original and the transformed request. You can require approval before sending.
The principles / 02
Transparency is a feature
The side panel shows what was flagged and what the AI actually sees. The planned API follows the same principle: visible, traceable transformations and data flow.
Swiss-rooted, with clear limits
Clausurus is based in Zürich. Optional deep scanning uses a Swiss-hosted Apertus endpoint. A chosen external chat model can still process the pseudonymized request outside Swiss jurisdiction, and deep scanning receives the original text. Swiss-only processing is therefore not a blanket guarantee in this version.
Open at the foundation
The basic version of Clausurus is open source. Privacy should be inspectable, not a slogan.
No account required
Try the chat immediately. Conversation history stays in your browser, not in a user profile. For debugging and usage, each sent message is also privately stored in both its original and pseudonymized form. Clearing browser data removes your local history, not these server-side records.
